Hey ya'll my name's Sami and I'm a designer here at Boifyadonboard.I was born in Rockford, IL and moved to Fort Worth,TX when i was 6. I lived there until i was 18 and then moved here to Paducah, KY.
I have always loved art, which was no surprise in my family since my mom is an artist and master craftsman. I have been drawing since I was 3 years old. I went from drawing potato people at 3 to Disney and coloring book characters at 10. At age 13 I got into sidewalk chalk and did life size Disney and coloring book characters on my driveway and canvas until i was 17.Then I got involved in theater for a few years and didn't have time for my pencil art.
Once I moved to Paducah I met Connor and he talked about wanting a custom skateboard deck that was a little more personal to him.So I quickly started getting ideas in my head and for the first time in my whole life i had a completely 100% design idea in my head that i didn't have to look at a something else and copy the design.Once i grabbed my sketchbook the ideas just started pouring out.
I love making custom decks to help people express themselves, but I also love making my random designs. My artistic style is a bit more intricate but fun and different. As a designer here i hope to work with you and get to know you so your board really reflects who you are. Thank you for your support!
